Why I never thought I could write a book?
The thought of writing and publishing a book was a surprise to me because I never thought I could write a book. When I first came in contact with my book coach, Dr. Francis Mbunya, I did not intend to write a book. I heard him spoke about the possibilities of starting a business at zero cost, and had been working hard to grow a business that my husband and I started a couple of years back, but everything seemed frustrating.
When I decided to talk to Dr. Francis to help with his business at zero cost strategies, he saw a bestselling author in me instead of a struggling business. Immediately he said, “Monica, do you know you can write a book, you have so much in you.” I immediately had the confirmation in my spirit and decided to take the challenge. Today, I am a published author, with my book reaching millions of people worldwide, and also a confidence coach helping others take that bold step of faith. I would love to say many opportunities come to us in disguise, and if we are not too careful to spot such great opportunities, they will fade away without us noticing.
Why I agreed to write a book titled “19 is a late start: 6 Steps to financial freedom and fulfillment as a young lady”?
Write a book and become a bestselling author
I had always thought it was tough to write a book until I had the opportunity to talk to Dr. Francis Mbunya about book writing. When he finished explaining his book writing approach to me, I was amazed at how easy the process was and how fast I could write and finish. When I first discussed the idea with my husband, he seemed hesitant because he had never heard me talk about writing a book. However, I have always learned to listen to my spirit and to believe in myself.
When I began the coaching process with Dr. Francis, I could see beyond the book. I understood that writing a book is not just about putting your ideas into words, but importantly, the capability to translate your ideas into a solution that would help someone make a difference in their life in a problem they might be going through or probably just for personal development.
Dr. Francis will always share with the authors he coaches that writing a book that changes lives, and becoming a bestselling author is the act of explaining complicated problems in the reader’s life in ways that the reader can read and easily apply the solution to solve these problems.
Why I wrote a book under the title “19 a late start”.
In other to write a book that changes lives, you need to, first of all, think about how your book will change your own life, which starts by you finding out the purpose of your book to you and your ideal reader. In this regard, the number 19 is significant in my life. That is about the period I left my home country to live with my sister in Holland. The second part of my book title, “a late start”, connects to me to my purpose of writing this book. When I arrived in Holand, I had to learn the Dutch language before doing anything else. I was concerned that most of my friends and classmates back in Nigeria were already studying at the university, and I could not do the same because of the language barrier.
I thought I was late; however, I learned more than enough during my transition process. I learned to fight the good fight, and I learned to overcome discouragement, self-pity, and self-sabotage, I learned to be confident; I learned to be a coach, and now is the right time to give back what I have learned and the secrets to my success. I teach other young ladies to do the same, and I must insist that it’s never too late to start. The moment is always right. All you need is the first step of faith, and I am willing to take that step with you.

Writing a book on “6 Steps to financial freedom and fulfillment as a young lady” reveals my winning secrets to fulfillment and financial freedom. What do fulfillment and financial freedom really mean? A dream come true for any young lady is to have a life of their own, a life where they are not limited by finance, and a life where they can happily do what they love to do. This is what this book offers you, and I think this is a book every lady should read, not only because it is Monica Oranugo who wrote it, but because of the benefit of learning from someone who was confronted at all levels to give up and did not give up. My advice for anyone who wants to achieve a life beyond struggle is that you need to learn to be persistent and know exactly what you want in life. She had always refused to give up because something in her just kept giving her the strength, God, and other things which she happily shared in her book.
